artus Aspergillus diff. RG PCR Kit RUO

The artus Aspergillus diff. RG PCR Kit is a ready-to-use molecular detection kit for real-time PCR. The kit includes a reaction mix containing all reagents and enzymes for amplification, detection, and differentiation of Aspergillus fumigatus/terreus/flavus DNA in whole blood.

The analytical sensitivity (without sample preparation) of the artus Aspergillus diff. RG PCR Kit was determined by probit analysis with a probability of 95% for positive samples. Analytical sensitivity for all 3 targets was less than or equal to 10 copies/µl.

The artus Aspergillus RG PCR Kit is based on the amplification and simultaneous detection of a specific region of the Aspergillus fumigatus/terreus/flavus genomes using real-time PCR. The kit provides high levels of specificity and sensitivity.
The kit provides a positive control for A. fumigatus/terreus/flavus DNA. In addition, the kit contains a second heterologous amplification system to identify possible PCR inhibition. This is detected as an internal control (IC) in a different fluorescence channel from the analytical PCRs.

The artus Aspergillus diff. RG PCR Kit provides all necessary reagents optimized for reliable Aspergillus fumigatus/terreus/flavus DNA detection and differentiation. Simply add template DNA to the ready-to-use PCR master mix and Mg solution, and start the reaction on the appropriate real-time cycler using the optimized cycling program described in the kit handbook. For DNA purification, we recommend using the QIAamp UCP PurePathogen Blood Kit.

The artus Aspergillus diff. RG PCR Kit enables rapid and sensitive detection of Aspergillus spp.DNA from whole blood. The kit enables discrimination of A. fumigatus/terreus/flavus DNA using specific probes.
