PCR Anti-inhibitor is a carefully composed mixture of alkaline proteins which counteracts substances inhibiting the PCR reaction. Adding PCR Anti-inhibitor to a reaction mixture is an ideal way of eliminating inhibitors originating in a DNA template isolation.

DNase contamination | None detected |
Quality Control
DNase activity was evaluated by incubating 1 μg of DNA with 1 μL of the enzyme for 4 hours at 37°C. Results are visualized on an ethidium bromide-stained agarose gel. The product was extensively tested in PCR reaction.
Usage
Add the PCR Anti-inhibitor to the PCR mixture in a 1:50 volume ratio, e.g., add 1 μL of the PCR Anti- inhibitor to 50 μL PCR reaction.

The acquisition of BLIRT by QIAGEN in the second quarter of 2022 paved the way for BLIRT’s expansion of R&D and manufacturing capabilities for customized and standardized recombinant enzymes and molecular biology reagents. Due to the transition, the rebranding process from BLIRT to QIAGEN is ongoing and the following resources still show BLIRT branding.
We assure you that the integration does not affect the quality, fit, form and function of the products.
